Midterm Reflection:
In all of my courses so far this semester, I would say that the most experience that made me feel the most successful would be English 100. The course that made me feel least successful, but surprisingly I was able to change it, was Math 125. Throughout my days in PCC, I have started to figure out my strength and weakness in each course of my classes. I would focus more on what were my weak points the most to try and establish a technique to fix my problem. These are my Strengths and Failures in my courses and how to solve my failures.
English 100 has been my favorite course subject out of all my other courses. I had always enjoyed the assignments we do in class and my professor is wonderful by helping us and explain each assignments he gives us. I do excellent "A" works on my essays as well in assignments, which I would always turn them in on time. I found out that essays where probably my strengths in college because I would always put a lot of thoughts and previewing each of my essays before submitting them. I am fond by the essays we are assigned because we can create a story or tell about our thoughts into a paper, instead of focusing on a topic that wouldn’t interest me at all.

Math 125 was my biggest weakness and also I was able to succeed to fix my failure in math. Math was never my good subject which I dislike the most but I must pass. All my homework assignments were excellent although tests were a challenge for me. I would panic on exams and would sometimes forget the formula of how to solve the problem. I got a “C” on my first test but I wanted to do much better to at least get a “B” on the next test. What I did to solve my problem was to form a study group. A friend and I decided we should work together to help each other out on a problem we did not know, since my professor didn’t explain very well all the time in class and I learn much more better online homework than in class. We would go to the library and find a quiet place or go outside to study. Spending 2 hours in the library, we would start practicing some problems in our textbooks and start asking questions one another if are stuck in a problem. When I took my second test, I passed it with an “A”. I was filled with excitement and in shock how a major change in my grade happened after forming this group study.
Throughout my experience in college, I finally found the solution to fix my mistakes or failures in a class. I noticed a group study is very effect in studying for a big exam or test in the future. It is a helpful tool and strategy to use for any students who have a difficult problem in exams like I have. Just by studying with one or two friends can make a great improvement difference in the grades. I shall continue to use this strategy I have experienced in and hoping this will help me in the nearest future in any exams I face until the end of this semester.
